Biography

Rose Cox is an environment and planning lawyer based in Sydney.

Rose has transactional, litigation, and advisory experience acting for both commercial and government clients on a range of environmental and planning issues including in relation to contaminated land, pollution, waste, planning approvals and environmental licences.  Rose has also advised on climate change law, including in relation to solicitor’s duties to advise their clients on climate change impacts on real property.

Rose’s litigation experience in the Land and Environment Court of NSW includes representing private and government clients in Class 1 Environmental Planning and Protection Appeals, Class 3 Valuation and Compensation Appeals and Class 4 Judicial Review and Civil Enforcement Appeals.
