Dr Frank Weberndörfer is an employment lawyer and a certified employment law lawyer (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht) based in Hamburg.

He advises employers at both large multinational and medium-sized companies and has extensive experience of restructurings and business transfers, litigation, reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans, works constitution law, termination of employment, employment contracts, remuneration and pensions.

Since 1994, Frank has advised numerous companies on transactions and restructurings and, in recent years, he has advised, inter alia, financial institutions on various restructurings; manufacturers on plant closures; and various clients on personnel leasing and pseudo self-employment issues.

He also advises companies and HR departments on day-to-day employment issues. Frank regularly acts for employers in lawsuits across all aspects of employment law, with a particular focus on dismissals and works council matters, including acting in numerous proceedings at the Federal Labour Court.

Frank is chairman of the expert committee for employment law with the Hamburg bar association.
