Biography
Nadège Martin is a technology and intellectual property lawyer. She leads our technology and innovation team in Paris.
Nadège joined us in 2011 and has 17 years' experience of information technology, outsourcing and data protection law. She works for a broad range of clients from various sectors such as financial institutions, energy, life sciences, transport and distribution.
Nadège regularly advises clients in the field of privacy, under French law and the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She also advises on local and cross-border data privacy issues, information and consent policies, data export solutions, and implementing GDPR compliance programs.
Nadège assists clients with the development of their data-based products and service offerings, e-commerce strategies, digital projects and big data programs. Nadège also has broad experience of advising on handling data security incidents and data breaches.
She frequently assists clients with major IT transactions (such as BPO and ITO, cloud services and other XaaS licensing models and integration agreements) and on complex software compliance audits initiated by software editors. Nadège also advises on recent technological developments, such as new cloud computing models, blockchain technology or AI technologies.
Nadège has extensive experience of litigation and regulatory and international investigations.
She regularly provides bespoke training to clients on technology and data privacy laws. She is the author of several articles in the fields of IP/IT law and regularly publishes articles in professional journals, notably on data protection.
Nadège was educated in France and the UK. She has been admitted to the Paris Bar in 2001.
Nadège is fluent in French and English.
