Tennessee maintains an OSHA approved occupational safety and health program administered by the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development (DLWD) through its state Occupational Safety and Health Administration. While Tennessee has implemented an emergency temporary rule similar to the June 21 OSHA ETS directed to healthcare employers, it has not adopted or implemented a standard similar to the November 5, 2021, ETS directed to all employers with more than 100 employees. We except further information regarding the DLWD’s plans pending a decision by the US Supreme Court.

On 8 September 2024, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), the National Health Commission (NHC) and the National Medical Products Administration jointly released the Notice on Carrying Out Pilot Programs to Expand the Opening-up in the Healthcare Sector (关于在医疗领域开展扩大开放试点工作的通知) (the Notice) .
