Marisa Kwan is an associate in our Toronto office with a focus on technology, cybersecurity and data privacy. Marisa has experience guiding clients in the retail and service industries through cybersecurity breaches.

Marisa joined us as a summer student in 2020, and returned to complete her articles in 2021-2022. During her articling term, Marisa went on secondment at Eli Lilly Canada Inc., where she assisted with regulatory and contractual matters.

While in law school, Marisa was a caseworker at Western Law's Community Legal Services clinic, and served as co-president of the Western Health Law Association. Prior to law school, Marisa earned a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and genetics, and has worked in a stem cell and cancer research institution.
