Biography
Sarah McCalla (she/her) is a member of our litigation and disputes team. Her practice focuses on commercial and administrative litigation, regional and local governance matters, expropriation proceedings, forestry issues, real estate disputes, and society-related litigation. She has assisted clients with submissions to various administrative bodies, as well as in mediations and arbitrations. She clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Sarah is an active member of the legal community. She is currently serving as co-chair of the SAGDA subsection of the Canadian Bar Association - British Columbia Branch and is our Vancouver Pride Network Lead. She regularly volunteers for Access Pro Bono's Clinics Program and as a supervising lawyer for Pro Bono Students Canada. She has presented numerous lectures on legal issues for lawyers and other professionals on a range of topics, including topics related to expropriations, easements, and bylaw enforcement.
