Biography
Charlton is a dispute resolution lawyer based in Hong Kong. His practise focuses on contentious non marine insurance, acting on behalf of insurers, in insurance related matters advising on policy coverage and defending claims against the insured, including professional negligence claims, clinical negligence claims and personal injuries claims. Charlton also has experience in commercial disputes advising corporations and financial institutions and represents clients in disciplinary investigations and inquiries.
Charlton was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court in Hong Kong in September 2013. He graduated from Durham University in 2010 and obtained Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

- Successfully dismissed a complaint made against a pharmacist at the disciplinary hearing by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Hong Kong on the instructions of the Insurer.
- Handling various claims arising out of industrial accidents including various high value claims for catastrophic injury cases.
- Defending various claims for professional negligence against law firms in Hong Kong.
