Biography
Viktor Hohlacov is a corporate and commercial lawyer in our Toronto office. He is developing a broad practice with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities and corporate governance.
Viktor joined us as a summer student in 2022 and returned to article the following year, after earning his JD and MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University. Viktor completed a secondment at the Royal Bank of Canada during his articling term, where he contributed to a variety of business law matters, including RBC's landmark acquisition of HSBC Bank Canada.
While in school, Viktor co-founded and led the Securities Law Association, served as an elected member of student government, and volunteered with community initiatives such as Law in Action Within Schools, among other involvements. His contributions were recognized with the Dean's Gold Key Award and the Graduating Student Award for Exceptional Leadership.
