Biography
Tyson Ginn is a corporate lawyer based in Perth with cross-border experience, particularly in the Australian market.
He specialises in general corporate governance advice, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions. He has substantial experience in general corporate advisory matters, corporate governance and dealing with regulatory bodies (ASIC, ASX and FIRB).

- Kirkland Lake Gold – on the Australian law and ASX-related aspects of its successful merger of equals transaction with Agnico Eagle Mines by way of Canadian law governed plan of arrangement (for consideration in excess of US$10 billion) and the subsequent de-listing of Kirkland from the ASX.
- The founders of a >$200m industrial services group - on the competitive sale process for the group.
- Asian Bulk Logistics – on the acquisition by an incorporated 50:50 joint venture between Asian Bulk Logistics and M Infrastructure of Aurizon's East Coast Rail business for $425 million plus the assumption of existing debt facilities (which originally totalled $500 million).
- Viburnum Funds - on its bid for a mining equipment manufacturing business.
- The Market Herald – on its acquisition of digital media businesses Gumtree, Carsguide and Autotrader from Adevinta for $86 million.
- DNV Group – on its acquisition of global solar irradiance data and forecasting provider Solcast.
- Novo Resources Corp. – on its acquisition of gold producer Millennium Minerals from IMC Resources for total cash and scrip consideration of approximately $150 million.
- Macmahon – on its acquisition of underground mining contractor GBF Group for $101.5 million.
- Perenti (formerly Ausdrill) – on its potential acquisition of a mining services business for several hundred million dollars
- An overseas-based and listed entity - on its application for Australian Foreign Investment Review Board approval ('FIRB approval') to acquire shares in an Australian proprietary company for consideration of over US$150 million.
- DDH1 Limited - on its application for FIRB approval to acquire ASX-listed Swick Mining Services Ltd for an implied equity value of $99.3 million.
Joint Ventures
- Neometals - on negotiations related to the Lithium refining-focussed cooperation agreement between its joint venture Reed Advanced Materials (70% Neometals, 30% Mineral Resources Limited) with Portuguese conglomerate José de Mello Group.
Equity Capital Markets
- Squadron Energy (the energy investment vehicle of Andrew Forrest) – on a placement of shares in Sun Cable, alongside Grok Ventures, the family investment firm of Atlassian's Mike Cannon-Brookes.
- Canaccord Genuity – in relation to its role as lead manager and underwriter on various secondary raisings.
- Arafura Resources, Northern Minerals and Todd River Resources – on various secondary raisings including entitlement offers and share purchase plans.
- An agribusiness on its Series A funding to raise $4 million.

- Advising on shareholder meetings, ASX listing rules compliance, and various other corporate governance matters such as a capital reduction and a dividend reinvestment plan.
