Biography
Sebastian Withers is an environment and planning lawyer based in Melbourne.
His environmental experience includes advising on licensing regimes and duties under environmental legislation. He also advises on climate change law, including the registration of carbon projects under the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011, and has experience drafting the legal documentation required in connection with carbon projects, in particular for the voluntary carbon market.
His planning experience includes advising on strategic planning issues, planning scheme amendments, and obtaining planning and environmental approvals for large-scale residential and commercial developments.
Sebastian has experience representing clients in specialist planning and environment tribunals, courts and panel hearings in disputed matters.
