The US Department of Labor has announced a February 22 meeting of the
National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety (NACOSH) and a February 25 meeting of the Committee’s Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Work Group. The agendas include agency updates from OSHA and NIOSH. Both meetings are open to the public and will be held via teleconference and WebEx.
Comments and requests to speak at the NACOSH meeting can be submitted by February 15 at
http://www.regulations.gov, referring to Docket No. OSHA-2022-0002.
The Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Work Group is tasked with providing recommendations regarding OSHA’s heat illness prevention guidance materials and evaluating stakeholder input to develop the elements of a proposed heat injury and illness prevention standard.
