Biography
Jason Buttuls is a litigation and disputes lawyer with a focus on construction litigation and arbitration. As a construction lawyer, he acts on behalf of owners, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors in disputes regarding construction and engineering projects.
He has experience with builders' liens and prompt payment legislation across jurisdictions and related disputes. He has appeared before many levels of court including provincial court, and the Alberta and Saskatchewan Court of King's Bench. Jason has also appeared before various arbitral tribunals, including ICC arbitrations, and administrative tribunals, including the Environmental Appeals Board, the Municipal Government Board and various subdivision and development appeal boards.
