Biography
Jessie Steinebach is a financial services lawyer based in Amsterdam. She advises on a wide range of regulatory and compliance aspects relevant to financial institutions, such as investment firms, trading platforms, payment institutions, insurers and fund managers.
Previously, Jessie was a part of the regulatory, compliance and investigations team where she advised multinational corporations on a wide variety of regulatory and compliance aspects, including anti-bribery and corruption, whistleblowing, anti-money laundering, fraud, competition and conflict of interest. Jessie's compliance experience includes supporting corporations in designing their compliance programmes, assessing regulatory risks and advising on how to respond to whistleblowing reports. Additionally, she has been involved in many sensitive cross-border investigative matters in various jurisdictions in Europe, Africa, Asia and South-America.
Jessie has a LLM Decree in Dutch Criminal Law and a LLM Decree in Global Criminal Law from the University of Groningen. Prior to joining NRF as a lawyer in April 2022, Jessie gained experience at Norton Rose Fulbright as a student worker.
