Biography

Anika is an insurance litigation lawyer based in Johannesburg.

Anika specialises in all aspects of insurance and insolvency law including related litigation and dispute resolution. This includes debt recoveries, liquidations, liability insurance, subrogated recoveries, personal injury claims and construction disputes.

Anika has experience in drafting security documentation as well as managing disputes that arise from deeds of suretyship, agreements of cession and indemnities.

Anika has assisted with debt recoveries on behalf of a bank, some of these recoveries involved liquidation proceedings and sequestration proceedings and she has experience in the managing and application of claims of this nature.
