Biography
Jenine Urquhart practises in the Calgary office's litigation and disputes group with a focus on general commercial litigation including contractual disputes, commercial real estate litigation, construction law, and insurance disputes.
Jenine has worked on a number of complex commercial matters at all levels of court in Alberta. She has further devoted a large portion of her practice to pro bono work, which has included immigration matters, non-profit lease disputes, and volunteering with the Pro Bono Law Alberta Court of King's Bench Court Assistance Program.
Jenine joined us as a summer student in 2019 and returned in 2020 as an articling student, after graduating law school with Great Distinction.
During her time in law school, Jenine represented the University of Saskatchewan at the 2019 Laskin Constitutional Law competitive moot and the 2020 Davies' Corporate/Securities competitive moot. Jenine also participated in the 2020 University of Saskatchewan Dean's Forum on Access to Justice and Dispute Resolution, where she engaged in a dialogue about access to justice with community stakeholders in Saskatchewan.
