Biography
Lauren Salloway joined as a business law associate in our Toronto office in 2016 after having worked as a summer student in 2014 and articled with us in 2015. She moved to London, UK, to continue her practice in early 2018. After having gained invaluable experience working overseas, she returned to our Toronto office in October 2021.
Lauren currently has a broad practice in corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, representing both purchasers and vendors (public and private corporations). Lauren has experience representing public funds in connection with initial public offerings and has acted on behalf of issuers and managers in a number of private placement financings and collateralized loan obligations. She also has notable experience in private equity, structured finance and bespoke financial products, which she acquired while practising in the UK.
