Cecilia Russell is a securities law clerk in our Toronto office. She assists lawyers, students and clients with securities-related transactions and other matters including public offerings, rights offerings, private placements, continuous disclosure obligations for reporting issuers and mutual funds, insider reporting and CDS filings including ISIN/CUSIP requests. Ms. Russell also conducts analysis of compliance and securities requirements.  Ms. Russell also performs various searches and analysis of public disclosure documents.

Ms. Russell handles ongoing security regulatory filings through the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR), the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI), the TSX SecureFile System as well as through the National Registration Database (NRD). She also assists with registration-related matters and ongoing regulatory filings for advisors and dealers.

Cecilia is a certified Carta expert.  Carta is a digital platform used by issuers in financing transactions to issue equity.

Cecilia is a member of the Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Network, Origins Committee and Race and Equity Council.
