Biography

Prakruthi Gowda is a projects and project finance lawyer based in Dubai. 

Prakruthi has extensive experience working on energy and infrastructure projects globally, including many first of a kind projects in the energy transition space. She advises Lenders and Sponsors on both commercial contracts and financing aspects of energy and infrastructure projects. She frequently advises financial investors on their investments in the energy and infrastructure sector as well as exits.

Prakruthi practices both English and New York Law.

  • Bayobab, wholly-owned by MTN Group - on its partnership with Africa50 to develop a terrestrial pan-African fibre optic cable network connecting ten countries from the Eastern to the Western shares of Africa.*

  • Sonangol - on various petroleum receivables-based financings.

  • The banking syndicate (with HSBC leading as coordinating bank) - in relation to the refinancing of Glencore's 2020 revolving credit facilities totalling US$ 9.975 billion.*
