London and Warsaw teams advise Macquarie Capital in connection with €123.4 million financing to DL Invest Group

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Macquarie Capital Principal Finance (Macquarie) on €123.4 million in the form of a senior secured loan to DL Invest Group.
The three-year facility will be funded using capital from Macquarie’s balance sheet. Funds from the loan will be used for further growth of DL Invest Group’s leading Polish logistics portfolio.
The loan is secured against 10 modern logistics assets across Poland, comprising of 193,000 sqm constructed by DL Invest Group over the last five years and is fully let to major international companies.
Norton Rose Fulbright’s team was led by partner Jennie Dorsaint in London, with senior associate Daniel Popek leading on the Polish banking aspects.
The London office advised on the financing documents governed by English law, while the Warsaw team advised on all Polish law aspects of the transaction, including analysing financial documents governed by English law from a Polish perspective, preparing financial documents governed by Polish law and conducting legal due diligence.
The Warsaw team also included associates Karolina Majcher and Michał Rutkowski, paralegal Mateusz Głaz and lawyer Daniel Ksiazek. Senior associate Patrycja Pakla, counsel Jan Wszołek, associate Magdalena Olechniewicz-Blocher, associate Cezary Zientecki, lawyer Karol Truszkowski, paralegal Martyna Sadowy, associate Maciej Dubiel and lawyer Jan Nowjalis supported on due diligence aspects. Tomasz Rogalski, counsel and head of real estate finance practice in Poland, supervised the Polish aspects of the transaction. The London team also included senior associate Jonathan Crookes and associate Symone Malcolm.
