Biography
Matthias Zimmermann is a banking lawyer based in our Munich office.
Matthias advises lenders as well as sponsors and project companies on infrastructure, PP/PFI and renewable energy projects in both domestic and international transactions.
Matthias holds a law degree of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. During his traineeship he worked in Munich and London.
He is a member of the Munich Bar Association. Matthias is a German native speaker, is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French.

- Advising Total on acquisition of interest in 640MW offshore wind farm in Taiwan.
- Advising NTT Leasing on the financing of five Airbus A320NEO aircraft.
- Advising lenders on PPP project for police headquarters southeast Hesse.
- Advising Alpha Bank on one of the first financing of greenfield onshore wind power under the new Greek support scheme for renewable electricity.
