Masuud Issa is a corporate and commercial lawyer in our Toronto office. He is developing a broad business law practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, securities and special situations.

Masuud joined us as a summer student in 2022 and returned to article in 2023-2024 after receiving his J.D. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, Masuud ran a successful start-up business in Toronto where he gained valuable experience working on a variety of business-related matters.

While in school, Masuud served as vice-president of the Osgoode Hall Black Law Students' Association, actively engaged on several student-faculty committees and volunteered with community initiatives such as Law in Action Within Schools & Urban Alliance on Race Relations, among other extracurricular activities. His contributions were recognized by receiving the Graduating Student Award for Exceptional Leadership for his contributions to the law school.
