Biography
Kimberly Jeffers practises commercial and corporate law, with a focus on matters related to life sciences and healthcare. Her practice focuses mainly on the drafting and negotiation of agreements entered into by public health institutions, researchers and companies focused on healthcare or life sciences, advising on the application of Quebec's Act respecting contracting by public bodies, and regulatory law. She has also developed an interest in cybersecurity and protection of personal information.
Ms. Jeffers also has experience in public procurement matters and assists clients in obtaining the authorization to contract delivered by the Autorité des marchés publics.
Prior to joining us, Ms. Jeffers was a litigation lawyer at a New York law firm, where she represented banking institutions, telecommunications companies, pharmaceutical companies and airlines in connection with civil and commercial disputes, arbitrations and governmental investigations in competition law and securities law. She also worked on high-yield bond offerings for a London-based law firm.
