Biography
Jean-Claude Rivalland is a Corporate lawyer based in Paris.
Jean-Claude mainly focuses on the banking, consumer markets and media sectors.
With over 30 years of M&A experience in the Paris market, Jean-Claude primarily advises clients on acquisitions and sales of private and public companies, with a particular accent on cross-border transactions. He is also involved in joint-ventures, notably for the financial institutions and media sectors. Jean-Claude has in-depth market knowledge and significant negotiating experience, having been involved in a number of transactions for major French banks as well as several foreign institutions.
Jean-Claude Rivalland began his career at Gide where he was promoted to partner in 1996. He joined in 1999 the Paris office of Allen & Overy of which he was one of the founding partners, then managing partner between 2010 and 2018. Jean-Claude joined Norton Rose Fulbright in July 2023.
