Biography
Jay Olmstead, a partner in the Houston office since 1984, has extensive experience in commercial finance, representing both lenders and borrowers, and in Uniform Commercial Code matters. He also practices in the areas of leveraged leasing, structured financings and ISDA transactions.
Jay is knowledgeable about legal opinion negotiation, including those involving the ABA Accord and those involving security interests under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. He has been listed among The Best Lawyers in America for public finance law by Best Lawyers from 2010 to 2014.
