Biography
Kimberley MacKay is a regulatory investigations and dispute resolution lawyer based in Melbourne, with a focus on insolvency, complex commercial disputes, and class actions.
Kimberley has acted for both regulators and companies and directors in regulatory investigations and prosecutions in corporation, financial services and competition matters. She has also represented defendants in large class actions, at first instance and on appeal, and has acted for plaintiffs and defendants in breach of contract, negligence, misleading and deceptive conduct, oppression, and breach of director duties cases.
Kimberley has acted in proceedings arising out of company administration and liquidation matters, including undertaking liquidators’ examinations and prosecuting proceedings against directors, advisors and other third parties on behalf of insolvent companies.
