The Paris Climate Agreement, UN sustainability goals and the Sustainable Finance Strategy of the Federal Government in Germany: The topic "Sustainability" links future issues with entrepreneurial objectives and fundamentally affects the way our world functions. Far-reaching changes are necessary if companies are to take responsibility for sustainable management seriously, including from a legal point of view, in order to secure their corporate success through an integrative strategy in the sense of green governance.
"Transforming change into opportunity." The practical implementation of sustainable corporate management requires an overview and expert knowledge, for example in order to identify climate-related risks at an early stage, to react adequately to regulatory changes and to identify new business opportunities. Our seminar informs you about the most important legal aspects and the latest developments in legislation and case law and what you already have to consider from the legal department's point of view.
About the keynote speaker
Gert Waltenbauer is Chairman of the Management Board (CEO) of KGAL GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Grünwald near Munich. In this position he is responsible for Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Audit, General Counsel, Compliance/Anti-Money-Laundering and Corporate Organization. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA) e.V. and a member of the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry®.
The KGAL Group is a leading independent investment and asset manager with an investment volume of around 20.5 billion euros. The focus of the investments is on long-term real capital investments for institutional and private investors in the asset classes of real estate, infrastructure and aircraft.
