We are delighted to invite you to our tenth annual European Data Conference which will take place across Europe in November.

Each half-day session will run from 08:30 (for registration) to 12:30, followed by lunch and networking.

  • Frankfurt | Monday, November 21
  • London | Tuesday, November 22: (Please note, this event is now at capacity and a waitlist is in place)
  • Paris | Wednesday, November 23
  • Amsterdam | Thursday, November 24

At this year's conference we will cover the following will:

  • AI case study: With the help of Professor Peter McBurney, we will use a case study to help explain different types of AI, the AI concepts privacy professionals should be familiar with and explore the types of issues companies should consider when rolling out an AI solution. While this session will touch on legal requirements in this area, its focus is on helping the audience better understand AI more generally, with the legal requirements for using AI explored in a follow-up session in early 2023.
  • Legal updater: We will provide an update on the major data protection developments in the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands, including looking at the EU digital strategy (and its UK equivalents), recent significant fines, important EU and national case law, as well as developments in the adtech space
  • Export: We will explore the evolving position on personal data export from the EU and UK, including looking at how the UK and EU positions differ, considering the impact of the Transatlantic Data Protection Framework, and discussing the supervisory authorities’ recent decisions in relation to the use of Google Analytics.

Please note, capacity at these events is limited and places will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. A waitlist will be in place in the event of oversubscribed events.
