Sustainability Asia: What does the proposed European Sustainable Batteries Regulation mean for Asia?

We have launched a new video series – Sustainability Asia. Each week, David Milligan and Nick Merritt, partners in our Hong Kong and Singapore offices, speak to colleagues and clients from across the region about why sustainability matters, how it will shape our markets and what it means for business in Asia.

In this video, Nick and Andrew Digges, project finance partner based in Singapore, give a brief summary of the new batteries regulation in Europe, and discuss how it will impact the EV batteries supply chain, in particular in Asia, and various sustainable solutions all stakeholders could consider to support the transition of the industry.
