Norton Rose Fulbright represents SRS Distribution in acquisition of Sunniland

United States ottobre 2023

A multi-office team of lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright represented national building products distributor SRS Distribution Inc. (SRS) in its acquisition of Sunniland Corporation (Sunniland). Sunniland is a distributor of residential and commercial roofing products and accessories and also operates a landscape supply distribution division. The acquisition is one of the largest building materials transactions in the US in 2023.

Sunniland was founded in 1884 and has grown to become one of the largest privately-owned businesses in Central Florida with more than 20 locations across Florida and South Georgia and a team of approximately 300 employees. The Sunniland acquisition will help SRS bolster its presence within the SRS’ existing branch network in these key markets.

The transaction closed on September 29, 2023.

Headquartered in McKinney, Texas, SRS was founded in 2008 and has become one of the largest and fastest-growing building products distributors in the United States. The company operates under a family of local brands with more than 740 locations across 45 states.
