Norton Rose Fulbright strengthens Frankfurt real estate practice with counsel Prof. Dr. Claus Pegatzky

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has strengthened its German real estate practice with the addition of Prof. Dr. Claus Pegatzky.
The public commercial law expert, who first worked for more than 15 years in the public law department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then for eight years at Greenfort in Frankfurt, joined Norton Rose Fulbright's Frankfurt office as counsel on 1 January 2023.
Claus has extensive experience in public sector projects, in particular, real estate and infrastructure projects. He has advised on a wide range of mandates at the interface of public law and financial law issues. In addition to further public law support in transactional business, as well as in other areas such as corporate and litigation, Claus advises on environmental law, public procurement law, foreign trade law and aviation law.

Norton Rose Fulbright is continuing the expansion of its real estate practice under the leadership of head of real estate in Germany and co-head of real estate in Europe, Middle East and Asia, Dr Maren Stölting.
In September 2022, the firm recruited real estate lawyer, Dr Riccardo Marinello, in the Frankfurt office.
