Biography
Vlada’s practice focuses on technology matters with an emphasis on patent litigation. She has represented large technology companies in federal district courts and in front of the US International Trade Commission (ITC). She has comprehensive experience developing strong non-infringement and invalidity arguments, writing successful dispositive motions and working closely with expert witnesses on expert reports. She also has experience with prepping witnesses and has second chaired both expert and fact witness depositions.
Prior to law school, Vlada spent over half a decade working in the industrial automation industry and has considerable experience with manufacturing, eCommerce platforms and software and hardware solutions. She has worked with clients across various sectors, including automotive, life sciences, entertainment, semiconductor, food and beverage, metal processing and oil and gas.
Outside of work, Vlada holds several active roles in the legal community, including serving as a co-chair of the New Lawyers Committee for the Intellectual Property Section for the State Bar of Texas and as a co-chair for the Impact Series Committee for The Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn American Inn of Court. Last year, she was a co-speaker on legal ethics at the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in May of 2023.
