United Kingdom Press release - Recognition janvier 2022

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that Peter Scott, Managing Partner, Europe, Middle East, Asia (EMEA), has been included The Lawyer’s Hot 100 list.

The Hot 100 is an annual listing of legal professionals in the UK who have made a significant impact over the past year.

The Lawyer recognised Peter in particular for his leadership during the pandemic and his work in advancing diversity and social mobility in the wider professional and financial services sectors.

Peter commented: “I’m delighted to be included in such a prestigious list and amongst so many accomplished peers. I look forward to working with colleagues to drive forward our growth strategy and to improve diversity and inclusion in our business and in our wider communities.”

Peter is a member of the City of London’s Socio-Economic Taskforce, a group of 30 cross-sector leaders from the financial and professional services industry, which launched in March 2021 to boost socio-economic diversity at senior levels across the UK.

Peter’s legal practice focusses on all areas of contentious antitrust and competition law work, including High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) litigation, European Court proceedings and investigations by the competition authorities. He has worked on a number of leading and high-profile contentious competition law matters for clients including HSBC, PwC, Vodafone, Mercer, Orange and Santander.

Peter trained with Norton Rose Fulbright and spent the first six years of his career as a general commercial litigator where he qualified as a solicitor advocate. He joined the antitrust and competition team in 2005 and was made a partner in the team two years later.
