Norton Rose Fulbright advises Post Office Limited on sale of home phone and broadband business

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Post Office Limited on the sale of its home phone and broadband business to Shell Energy Retail Limited.
The deal was signed on February 1, 2021, and completion is expected to take place in mid-March. The transaction enables the Post Office to concentrate and invest in its core products and services - mail, banking, bills and travel products.
The Post Office telecommunications business supplies approximately 500,000 customers with home phone and broadband services and has been operated by the Post Office since 2007. The Post Office customers will be migrated to the new supplier on March 15, 2021.
