Biography
Veronica Seeto is a commercial lawyer based in Canberra, specialising in government tendering and procurement.
She has substantial experience advising on all aspects of complex procurements and strategic contracting matters, and has advised clients on major projects for over 11 years.
Veronica works with in-house legal teams, commercial teams and project teams of Commonwealth Government departments. She advises on project, procurement and contract design (including on acquisition, sustainment and remediation strategies, project delivery models and market-testing activities), the interpretation and management of contracts (including performance based contracts), and dispute resolution and commercial settlement arrangements.
She reviews and drafts contract and request documentation, evaluates tender responses, prepares for and conducts commercial negotiations in both a lead and supporting role, and advises on compliance with legislation and policy.
