Biography
Geraldine is a commercial litigator, who specializes in antitrust, RICO, and class action litigation. She has obtained dismissals and other wins for her clients in federal and state courts and in arbitration. She has considerable courtroom and trial experience, including several jury trials and arbitration hearings.
Most recently, Geraldine won dismissal of antitrust class claims before a California federal court and dismissal of antitrust claims before the Texas Supreme Court. She defeated RICO class claims before the Fifth Circuit. She secured a significant arbitration win, with an award of compensatory and punitive damages, fees, and costs for her clients. She also counsels clients on antitrust and related compliance issues and on pre-litigation disputes.

Additionally, she regularly practices in California and New York federal courts as a pro hac vice.

Antitrust and Competition
- Obtained summary judgment dismissal of antitrust conspiracy and monopolization claims for client in the entertainment industry, before the Texas Supreme Court
- Obtained summary judgment dismissal of antitrust price-fixing claims for client in the energy industry before a California federal court
- Defended and obtained favorable settlement for client in the biotechnology industry against federal and state antitrust conspiracy and monopolization claims
- Represented and obtained favorable judgment for client in arbitration proceedings involving antitrust issues and contract claims
- Represented a steel service center and its president against federal antitrust conspiracy claims, from discovery to trial in federal court
- Advised client in construction industry regarding threatened antitrust lawsuit and conspiracy claims
- Advised client regarding potential antitrust issues raised by proposed billion-dollar transaction
- Advised client in the telecommunications industry regarding antitrust issues related to patent litigation
- Advised clients in the entertainment industry regarding antitrust issues related to joint venture activities
- Prepared antitrust and export compliance materials for a U.S. subsidiary of a Chinese oil and gas company
- Advised multiple clients in response to grand jury subpoenas in federal antitrust investigations
