Norton Rose Fulbright advises Infrastructure team of the business of Federated Hermes on sale of 50% interest in Braes of Doune wind farm

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Hermes Infrastructure Fund I LP (“HIF I”) on the sale of its 50% interest in Braes of Doune wind farm to Greencoat UK Wind PLC, for a consideration of £48.1m.
Braes of Doune is located in Stirlingshire, Scotland, and comprises 36 Vestas V80 2MW turbines with a total capacity of 72MW.
The London deal team was led by corporate partner Stephen Rigby and also included counsel Nicolas Sirtoli. Partner Matthew Hodkin and associate Will Scott provided tax advice.
The London team originally advised HIF I when it acquired the 50% interest in Braes of Doune from Centrica PLC in 2013.
