Biography
Ben Wilford is a commercial litigation lawyer based in Sydney focusing on:
Commercial disputes for government agencies, commercial clients and individuals;
Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters in relation to consumer protection and regulation of corporate, markets, financial services and AML/CTF regulation;
Independent internal investigations and other inquiries including in relation to the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in NSW and National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
Ben has extensive experience in commercial and government litigation, prosecutions and public inquiries as well as regulatory investigations and enforcements such as those commenced by AUSTRAC, APRA, ASIC and the ACCC, having acted previously for both regulated entities and the regulators. Ben’s practice also includes general commercial litigation matters including claims in contract , tort (including professional negligence) and equity and has acted for parties in a range of cross-border disputes.
