Biography
Jan Peter Weiland is a banking and finance lawyer based in London. His practice focusses on advising on complex cross-border banking and finance matters. Peter’s experience covers a broad range of debt products, including receivables finance, securitisation, project and asset finance, as well as sovereign debt across Europe and emerging markets. He has represented a wide variety of investment and commercial banks, investment funds and corporates in respect of complex financing matters. Peter has practiced in London, Germany, China and Japan and has been on several client secondments to international banks during his career. From 2009 to 2010, Peter worked as legal counsel at a London based asset manager in the debt space. Peter is qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany (Hamburg bar). |
