Dale is a registered tax practitioner specialising in corporate tax, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border deal structuring, preference share and debt funding and exchange control. He advises multi-national underwriters on warranty and indemnity insurance (W&I/R&W) and tax risk policies, having advised on over 100 policies.

Dale's practice experience includes advising on tax disputes with revenue authorities, value-added tax, the application of double taxation agreements, the MLI, OECD Pillar II, and mineral and petroleum royalties.

Dale is a co-author of South African Mineral and Petroleum Law.
