Sophy Teng is a knowledge lawyer based in Singapore.

She supports fee-earners across various practice groups on transactions, with issues including structure, drafting, contractual interpretation and research on complex or novel legal issues.

Sophy keeps up to date with current legal and regulatory issues.  She develops our client publications and our knowledge, including bespoke client precedents.  She also leads our client training initiatives and our training program for our lawyers.

Sophy has a keen interest in the evolving legal and regulatory developments involving market changes.  

Prior to joining the firm, Sophy practised as a finance lawyer with a magic circle firm in London for nine years.  She worked on a wide range of finance and capital markets transactions, including project bond financing, whole business securitization, restructurings, bond and convertible bond issues, structured debt and other capital markets products.

Sophy is dual-qualified in England and Wales and Singapore.
