Biography
Laurie Pearson is a projects lawyer based in Singapore. She specialises in the development, financing and acquisition of power and renewable projects. Laurie has advised sponsors, lenders, export credit agencies and governments on all aspects of project development and financing. In particular, she specialises in power purchase agreements, concession agreements, government guarantees, fuel supply, construction and other project related agreements. She has advised on projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Laurie studied at the University of Auckland, New Zealand obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance in 1990 and an LLB (Hons) in 1993. She is qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand and England & Wales. She joined our London office in 2001 and transferred to Singapore in 2009.
