Profiles in Diversity Journal has honored Norton Rose Fulbright’s Minneapolis Partner-in-Charge Mary Young with its Women Worth Watching in Leadership Award. The 23rd annual award program recognizes professionals who demonstrate an exceptional dedication to their career, families and communities.

As Partner-in-Charge of the Minneapolis office, Mary leads more than 50 lawyers and Business Services professionals, fostering the firm’s people-first culture and promoting client service.

Mary’s practice focuses on representing clients in complex matters across a broad range of substantive legal areas, including product liability, consumer fraud class actions, mass torts and commercial litigation.

She has first-chair trial experience and serves as national counsel and national coordinating counsel for Fortune 500 companies, defending claims in federal and state courts across the country. In 2021, Mary served pro bono as a member of the prosecution team that secured the conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd.
