Biography
Florence Méthot's practice focuses mainly on civil and commercial litigation. She prepares legal opinions, drafts proceedings and represents clients before the courts.
While in law school, Florence volunteered at the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic at Université Laval and at the Ligue des droits et libertés. She also represented Laval University at the 2018 Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Competition in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. She made the honour roll of Laval University's law faculty for her academic excellence.
Florence clerked for Justice Malcolm Rowe at the Supreme Court of Canada during the 2022-2023 judicial year, and for Justice Jocelyn F. Rancourt at the Court of Appeal of Quebec from 2019 to 2021.
