Dr Michael Sinclair is a technology lawyer based in London. He is a Consultant and Head of Knowledge, IT/IP.

Michael focuses on emerging and disruptive techologies, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, the metaverse, non-fungible tokens, electronic gaming, blockchain / distributed ledger technology, smart contracts and other aspects of FinTech.

He has a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he taught law (Gonville & Caius College and Trinity Hall), and has held a full-time lecturing post at Edinburgh University.  Michael returned to legal practice and became a partner and head of the London Technology, Media and Telecommunications department of another leading international law firm. He has published numerous articles on a range of disruptive technologies and has co-authored a number of textbooks on outsourcing and technology.
