Biography
Adriana Cotter is a corporate and regulatory insurance lawyer based in London.
She focuses on regulatory, commercial, and transactional work (including M&A and portfolio transfers) for UK and international (re)insurers and intermediaries in both the Company and the Lloyd’s market.
Her practice covers the full range of the insurance life cycle from start-ups to run-off.
She also advises financial conglomerates seeking to access the UK insurance market as well as advising businesses outside the financial services sector on regulatory issues arising from the sale of insurance products.

- Policy wordings, including credit insurance and the provision of related legal opinions for CRR purposes
- Secondment and services agreements and distribution arrangements
- Part VII transfers and M&A deals, for both sellers and buyers, including in the legacy sector and in relation to Lloyd’s vehicles, as well as advising on renewal rights deals
