Biography
Geneviève Fauteux is a versatile and client-focused litigator who represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes and professional negligence defence and insurance matters.
Geneviève also advises and represents clients on all aspects of privacy law, including regulatory investigations, in addition to assisting public bodies and third parties navigate the access to information process under provincial and federal freedom of information legislation.
Geneviève is proud to represent clients in both official languages and has done so before various levels of courts and tribunals, including the Federal Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Small Claims Court, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, the Office of the Information Commissioner, and the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Prior to joining us in 2023, Geneviève practised at a national firm in Ottawa.
