Martijn Knigge is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer (advocaat) based in Amsterdam.

He focuses on a variety of national and international corporate and commercial disputes, insurance related disputes and matters regarding commercial contracting and liability. As part of the litigation and disputes team, Martijn advises corporates and insurers in proceedings often involving multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining the litigation and disputes team, Martijn gained experience in the banking and finance team where he primarily advised banks and other financial institutions and corporates in an array of transactions both domestic and cross-border, including but not limited to asset-based lending, asset finance and project finance, often with an export credit agency cover. As part of the banking and finance team, Martijn also advised lenders, lender-groups and distressed companies in corporate restructurings.
