Tankred Freiberger, M.A., is a real estate lawyer based in Munich. He advises national and international clients in all areas of real estate law, in particular on complex project developments, large-volume real estate transactions and commercial lease agreements.

A particular focus of his expertise lies in the support of project developments. His experience covers both residential and commercial projects, from office and retail properties to logistics/industrial buildings and special asset classes such as data centers. Tankred advises on both public and private construction law. This includes the realisation of zoning plans and building permits as well as the negotiation of project management agreements, planning agreements and construction contracts including complex general contractor agreements. Finally, he also advises during the entire planning and construction phase, which includes enforcing and fending off claims with regard the various parties involved.

Tankred also brings this expertise to bear in providing comprehensive advice in real estate transactions. His experience includes both single-asset and portfolio transactions in asset deals and share deals, including forward deals. In addition, he advises clients on drafting and negotiating contracts, in particular commercial lease agreements.

Prior to joining us, Tankred worked for several years as a real estate lawyer at a leading international law firm in Berlin.
