Biography
Kamel Ben Salah is a partner in the banking and finance department of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Paris.
He mainly advises banks and financial institutions on the structuring, documentation and negotiation of complex transactions, financing, refinancing or restructuring. He specializes in asset finance (mainly real estate), corporate finance (mainly real estate companies) and project finance.
Kamel has been asked by various financial institutions acting as arranger or lender, advising on the setting up of financing for investment funds, real estate companies, French SIICs, French SCPIs and French OPCIs. These transactions mainly concern the financing or refinancing of individual assets or portfolios of assets (office buildings, hotels, logistics platforms, residential buildings, shopping centers) and companies or groups of companies (mainly real estate companies). He advised the arrangers and underwriters in the setting up of the first mortgage bond issues in France.
Kamel is consistently recognized as one of the top experts by international legal directories suc as Chambers, Legal 500 EMEA, IFLR1000, Thomson Reuters and Best Lawyers in France.
