Biography
Félix-Antoine Morin is a litigation lawyer in our Québec office and focuses on clients in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
Mr. Morin's capabilities relate to all aspects of construction projects, particularly the bid and submission process, issues affecting payment timelines when carrying out a construction project, problems impacting production and design defects, as well as claims associated with timelines, additional costs and impact costs.
Mr. Morin has represented, both as plaintiffs and defendants, owners, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, in particular before the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as in connection with alternative dispute resolution.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Morin practised for more than five years in a small Québec firm specializing in construction law.

- A major general contractor, in the context of a compensation claim of over $2.3 million against the client, a specialized equipment manufacturer and distributor in a project being completed in the lower North Shore
- An important real estate owner, in connection with a $2.2 million action for construction and design defects
- A large general contractor, in connection with arbitration directed against a public project owner, with respect to a claim for more than $1 million in impact costs
- A multinational road equipment manufacturer, in connection with a manufacturer liability claim
- Several contractors, in connection with claims brought against project owners and in connection with the enforcement of securities related to construction (legal hypothecs and bond)
